Route:

Once we have left Chesham we make a steepish climb into woods. At the top we have good views over Chesham Vale. Shortly after we reach Hog Lane where there’s a good chance of seeing yellowhammers in the hedgerow + an impressive oak tree which is over 150 years old. From here we walk to the village of Ashley Green. We then descend past disused Bovingdon airfield to lunch @ The White Hart in Whelpley Hill.
After lunch we pass by the remains of a Neolithic settlement, across farm land and footpaths before reaching the outskirts of Chesham & our way back to the station.

Lunch:

The White Hart in Whelpley Hill. A table has been booked 13.00 / 13.15 but no need to pre order food
