12 members met on a blustery spring day. Sweeping clouds and a mix of blue skies and showers Lots of taking wet weather gear on and off but a sense of humour persisted and fun was had by all
High mud count but a very accomodating pub who looked after us well

Route: A climb out of Riddlesdown onto open common land joining the London Loop all
the way to Coulsdon South. Undulating countryside with good views. Taking in
Riddlesdown, Kenley Common and Aerodrome, Coulsdon Common and Farthing Downs.

If the Corporation of the City of London hadn’t bought the ‘Coulsdon Commons’ in 1883 it would have been built on. The City of London dedicated the 350 acres of Coulsdon Common for recreational use.
