Henley and Hambleden

By Car A4130 and A 404 via M4 Holyport Interchange or A4130 and A 404 via M40 J4. The Station is in the South of Henley on the West side of the river. Approx 1.3hrs.
Travel: by train from Paddington: times: 7.46 arrive at 8.57 if missed then 8.18 arriving at 9.27 - if on this train please text Martin so that he knows to expect you. but ideally the earlier train should be chosen.
Returns are at: 4pm and every half hour thereafter.
Along the towpath from Henley to Hambleden via Remenham and Hambleden Lock and back along the opposite riverside encompassing the following interesting features:
Henley Town
Hambleden Village
Remenham Village
Mill End.
Hambleden Lock
Three Churches.
Fawley Court
Various species of Bird including:
Red Kites
Grebes
Kingfishers
Cormorants
Herons
Easy mainly flat terrain.
