Moor Green Lakes Reserve and Crowthorne
Train problems
This walk morphed into a walk from Richmond staion along the Thames Path to Teddington then back across the meadows to Ham House and on to Ham for lunch at the New Inn. After lunch we walked up into Richmond Park and back to the station
8 of us enjoyed the sunshine and chat
3 brave people survived the curse of SWR trin schedule mess and manaaged to get to Crowthorne and also had a lovely time
This walk will be repeated, hopefully without gremlins
Outward Clapham junction 9.28am arrives Crowthorne 10.38am after a change at Wokingham 10.33 am
This train can also be picked up at RICHMOND 9.36am
Return Crowthorne- ½ hourly trains either via Guildford or Wokingham
. This walk takes a route along the Blackwater Valley Path and the Bracknell gravel pits, now a nature reserve and a resting place for wintering wildfowl.
It is likely to be flat but probably wet as it is along a river bank
Frog and Wicket Eversley
This is an unreccied walk so a collective approach to finding our way will be appreciated
