Birdsong Walk Isabella Plantation

Nine lunatics from the LWG decided to brave the rain and go and listen to the birds in the Isabella Plantation and to Angus identifying them and giving us background on avian breeding cycles etc. Surprisingly, quite a few birds decided to brave the rain too, and sang for us (wren, song-thrush, woodpecker, blackbird, robin etc + squawk from parakeet). Heroically, Angus walked to the meeting point from Putney as he didn’t want to get his Maserati wet.
The birds all refused to pose for photos, so here are pics of the lunatics and of the big game in the park.
Very jolly dinner in The Lass o’Richmond Hill afterwards.
