Regent’s Canal towpath from Limehouse to Camden Lock,

Thankyou Line it was magical with not a dull moment from the beginning in 'The Ragged School' Museum founded by Dr Barnardo two centuries ago, and the welcomed lunch in salubrious Islington pub where a few of us almost forgot to pay! Through many a tunnel, past moored houseboats, swimming wild-life, then steps up to file though Camden Market 'just looking'! Onwards as dusk fell when lights switched on reflected on the black water. Suddenly we were there squeezing through an almost hidden door into the magic garden where the most best Christmas Cake Ever, Tea and delicious Cheese-Cake awaited us, served to all by Terence and Line's grandchildren. A truly memorable walk and a great start to the festive season. Many congratulations to you Margaret for your significant birthday on Sunday.
