Overton Source of The Test

Many thanks to Jo W ( and the Pask's) for Sunday's walk. 13 of us ( for the superstitious 12 and a leader) set out on a grey, but dry day. A long, 12+ miles, but beautiful walk, along tracks and paths through rolling Hampshire countryside.

>> Sun in the afternoon. A good lunch, where Jane L joined us. We were delighted to see her, especially as she did what I have tried to persuade LWG members who don't feel up to a full walk to do: she arrived, did a short walk, joined us for lunch and then set out with us for the afternoon and returned when she felt she'd had enough. The main walk was only spoilt at the end when the train arrived full to bursting and the car drivers had to help pushing the train-ees onto the train. I fear they stood all the way home.
>> I apologise for getting the dates muddled and making a clash with the Open House weekend, I will try harder to get the dates right next year and avoid the Open House weekend.
